Watersports experts Industry Wake are developing a brand new floating aqua park at Albert Dock in Liverpool. The Adventure Dock Co will be a ‘Wipeout’ style inflatable assault course that will span 300ft across Liverpool’s iconic UNESCO World Heritage waterfront.
Industry Wake’s Managing Director, Tim Woodhead, said: “We are over the moon to bring this fantastic new attraction to Duke’s Dock, a fun and action-filled aqua park that will create a “splash” in the city next summer.”
“We have worked at several iconic locations in the past, but none as prestigious or historic as Liverpool’s waterfront.”
“Our aqua park is something that will excite those young and old, and I can guarantee that our obstacles will leave thrill-seekers wanting to return over and over again for more!”
Industry Wake already run a successful water sports attraction in Liverpool, with Liverpool Wake Park being located only one mile down the road in the neighbouring Queen’s Dock.
Albert Dock Liverpool’s CEO, Sue Grindrod, said: "We look forward to working in partnership with The Adventure Dock Co and Canal & River Trust, to animate the water space and create something new for visitors to enjoy at Albert Dock.”
The new addition to Liverpool’s waterfront will operate from May to October 2018 and tickets are already available to buy.
